4	Project 180 (Simei) Youth Development Programmes	Fei Yue	Animal-Care Programme. Through interactions with animals, getting to meet with professionals from the Animal-Care industry, and speaking with our social workers, we aim for the youths to (i) to increase in knowledge of animal care and learn more about the skills required, (ii) to gain a better understanding of one’s socio-emotional coping, (iii) to gain exposure to the Animal-Care industry. Youth REKA (Recruit-Explore-Knead-Accomplish) Baking Programme. The programme aims to connect with youths through kneading & developing interest, moulding character and shaping potential. Empowering youths to bake healthy treats for the elderly promotes intergenerational relationships; and mastering the skill creates vocational opportunities in bakeries and cafes. HOOKED! Fishing Programme. Getting in touch with the nature through boat and freshwater fishing helps youths to increase appreciation for nature and diversity. Through the engagement of mindfulness fishing, youths acquire skills to manage stresses more effectively, learn responsible fishing practices and marine conservation.
